The Mystery of Tomorrow

Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 60cm X 130cm

“Here we are, new start, new Life. So there I stand on the balcony of my studio looking further than reality. A very Horta door coz yes this is Belgian Surrealism. Now, I have not only put my favorite hat but also I dressed up for the occasion, the 4th of March, is my Indenpendence Day . A Parrot is enjoying the cool breeze of its freedom, is a reminder of my tropical life. Obviously there are some women there on my painting and this could be the mystery of my tomorrow, as Marjorie said quite well, the Lady I on the right of the painting is watching the horizon in hope to see her Love coming and the thing is… That same guy could really well be waiting on his side of the ocean for her to come into his Life… Well Well Love is not always easy, surely not impossible but complicate, sometimes. Which makes all the richness of this beautiful Romance. And another Lady is wandering by the side of the train but who knows who that might be?? Might even be the same woman at a different time of the story. Laly Blue, always fidel, ready to jump in my train, coz Yes I am going for it, crossing that arch of the day and deepen myself into that beautiful tomorrow. Vanille, center of my Life, softly growing under that blue sky of my Love . Some numbers here and there, of course, they mean a lot to me. Et pour faire plaisir à Jean-Luc, ce sont bien des rails Vignoles attachés aux traverses par des tirefonds à tête carrée.. Isn’t that nice ?!”
